11th ANNUAL National Training SeminaR (NTS) 2008.....
Beikoku Shido-kan Karate-do Association
President:  Seikichi Iha, Hanshi 10th Dan, Head Master
Friday-Sunday, July 18-20, 2008, held at
Michigan State University
East Lansing, Michigan USA

NTS 2008 registration form, prices and other information now available online!  Registration brochure and form will also be mailed to current Beikoku Shido-kan Karate-do Association members.  Check the form for pricing and discount price break dates.
Besides discounts and other benefits (see below), becoming a member shows your dedication to karate and support of your dojo, your sensei, Shido-kan Shorin-ryu Karate-do and Sensei Iha.  Sensei Basinger gives one free Beikoku Association gi patch (regularly $5) to new members.
Association membership application form is available at:

http://www.ihadojo.com/Association/memberapp.htm
Association membership benefits:
http://www.ihadojo.com/Association/memberbenefits.htm

NTS Content and Focus:  There will be a curriculum in place for ALL ranks (like less formal "training" for the kids in MSU's swimming pool).  Many facets of the martial arts are to be covered.  Sensei Iha will be leading instruction.  There will be other master teachers in attendance from various parts of the globe. . . as well as other high ranking senseis and karate-ka with whom to train who are always tremendously inspiring.  It is an extraordinary opportunity to learn, unite and bond with fellow  karate-ka from across the country and around the world, as well as to celebrate friendships old and new.  Past NTS attendees have come from as far away as Okinawa, Japan, Guam, Australia, Israel, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Russia, Austria, Germany, Italy and Canada.
Read about last year's NTS...

Among Karate STL adult and youth students who attended past seminars with Sensei Basinger:  George Fortier, Glenda and Bryan Petrofsky, Kristina and Krystal Carpenter, Ameer and Arbaaz Syed, Stephanie Faulkingham, Kevin Queen, Tony Bui, Candice Turner, Tom Eberle, Kathy and Benjamin Royer, Nsilo and Nezariah Berry, Georgy Kalachinsky, Graham Lair.  Non-participating observers who came to lend support:  Karen Carpenter, Charles and Shelley Berry, Lonnie Williams, Brian Royer, Linda, Don and Terri Turner.  An educational, exhilarating and enjoyable trip was reportedly had by everyone.
